Hard Cider Blend

This is fresh pressed apple juice, specially blended for hard cider making. Data for pressings is available including cultivars used. Most batches have an average of 50 varieties included.  5 gallon minimum Juice can be transferred into your vessel upon arrival, or we can include the container. Kits, vessels and fermenters are also available. We stock commercial yeast if you do not want to go for a natural ferment (several styles to choose from). Heirloom Swedish apple, appearing in the middle of the 18th century. Excellent fresh eating with a nicely balanced sweet-tart flavor. Some notes of berry. Yellow skin with patches of red can become fully red. Ripens here in late September. Hardy to zone 3 at least. Upright form, should be trained young to widen branch angles. Fruit is medium in size.
