    • Farms
This is the space to plug your favorite farm. The best insight will come from those you have visited, folks you know, but especially those those that set the bar high for good farming practices, ingenuity and dedication to their community and the environment. Sure this could be your own farm, a local haunt or one you magically stumbled upon during a trip abroad.

    • Memberships and Certifications
There are great many organizations and certification bodies a farmer or homesteader may join. Some set rules and require inspection. Some pride themselves on providing aid and advice. What do we know about these bodies? What are your experiences with them?

    • Plant People
Who are your heroes in the world of farming and horticulture? A hands in the dirt farmer, a scientist, a cider maker, or maybe a writer or speaker? This may be someone unknown that is a personal friend, a superstar or one gone long ago. Who is someone that made a green mark on you?

    • Species
This space is specifically for species discussion, that defined in scientific nomenclature. For example, malus coronaria and malus domestica are species (g-s) but McIntosh is labeled a variety (or more correctly a cultivar). So, here we would discuss the malus domestica species in general (this being the pool of domesticated produce apple), but the McIntosh chat should be located in the Varieties pages.
