Description
High quality prolific hard cider variety. Bittersweet, orange and yellow medium sized fruits. Not for fresh eating. Can be used as a nice tannic addition to sweet ciders (non alcoholic) as well. Heirloom European apple (1850s Normandy). Although is trialing well in northern Vermont, consider (like most western Eur. apples), as an experimental cultivar anywhere colder than US zone 5.
