Burgundy Apple

Description

Deep purple skin and white flesh.  Very crisp, sweet tart apple. Hangs well. Ripens in Walden mid September most years. Bred at NY AES in Geneva in the 1970s. Good all purpose apple, but particularly good fresh eating. Stores about a month in cooler.
