Description
Cold hardy cider and hard cider variety. Excellent in quality for fermenting, but adds mouthfeel and richness to sweet cider as well. This is strictly for cidermaking, and perhaps to some degree for culinary use, due to its high astringency and bitter notes. Fruit is small fruited (golfball sized to slightly larger). Bronze and red splashing and russeting over yellow-green. Reliable and annual. Bred at Walden Heights Nursery for cider production.
