Nova Easygro Apple

Description

Spartan X PRI 565. Also called Nova. Red striped flattened fruit bred for disease resistance. Immune to apple scab fungus. These come out nearly perfect for us, ripening in early October most years at Walden Heights. If picked too early they are a bit bland, but nice if allowed to tree ripen, or kept in storage a few weeks. This is really a storage apple in our opinion, and makes very nice pies and sauce.
