Walden Heights Nursey introduction. Green and yellow apple with occasional pretty pink blush. Medium sized highly scab resistant apple. Crisp and dense for a summer apple with unique tart taste. Named after our son who loves these tart lunchbox sized fruits. We find most kids adore the sharper and more flavorful apples, much more than the insipid varieties residing in our supermarkets that adults apparently tolerate. Extremely productive, routinely 12-15 bushels from our original tree. Annual. Keeps much better than other early season apples.
