Description
Very large yellow apple with pink blush. Firm white, juicy flesh. Fine flavored and tart. Tree is very cold hardy, but it ripens late so is better suited to moderate zones. Originated in Bremen, Germany before 1828. Moderately vigorous tree with stout branching. Dike-Warden Boike is the namesake.
