- Apples light in the hand when mature
- Scab resistant and very cold hardy (at least to zone 3)
- Strong tree with annual crops
- Sweeter than tart with tropical notes in well ripened fruit
- Harvest is mid September in Walden VT
- All purpose apple is very good if picked promptly (stores only a few weeks)
