Description
Large whitish skinned apple with pink and orangish highlights. Sweet-tart and rich, juicy flesh. Very cold hardy and vigorous tree. Fine tree form, tall and spreading. Annual cropping and productive. Introduced by Walden Heights Orchard, it is an open pollinated Antonovka. The name comes from the Ukrainian word for blushed, referring to the warm coloring in the fruit. Antonovkas originated in the Ukraine 500 years ago.
