Unusual Fruit
Burr Oak now available. One of the largest acorns with a distinctive "hairy" cap. Sweeter and less bitter than most oaks but still strong on the tannins. Can be pretty tardy to bear...as in decades...but shouldn't we do some things in life for our children that we have little hope of enjoying? Can live over 400 years and grows 70 to 80 feet tall.
Hardy to zone 3.
Plants include: Burr oak, Juneberry, Rose, Shade Trees, Aronia Berry, Highbush Cranberry, Jerusalem Artichoke, Rhubarb, Seedling Fruit Trees,-
